2008 Super Water Savers Announced

how businesses became Super Water Savers!
Four organizations gained public recognition for their water-saving efforts. The San Diego County Water Authority and KGTV Channel 10 searched for businesses, organizations (such as HOAs) or public agencies in San Diego County that have taken action to become an exemplary water saver by reducing their water use, for example by installing water-efficient devices, putting in low-water-use landscapes or irrigation systems, taking advantage of recycled water, or other means.
Four examples – one per month from June through September – were selected and recognized on air on Channel 10 for their efforts with a 15-second TV spot.

Hollis Cameron is a student at San Diego Mesa College and has been involved in the production of many videos. Cameron is pursuing a career in film. His recent work for the Challenge
Center located in La Mesa helped raise $7,000 so the center can continue providing services to the disabled community. Cameron can be contacted at holliscameron@gmail.com.
Bill Roberts is a student at National University and is in his final year of National's Broadcast Media program. In addition to school, he is a waiter and works as an intern for 451degrees.com and San Diego's City TV. At 451degrees.com, Roberts edits video and dabbles in web design. At San Diego City TV, he is learning television production fundamentals. In his spare time he can be found playing kickball in Ocean Beach or dominating fantasy football leagues.
